Holiday in Tobermory

The Grotto Entrance (fancy word for cave)

Inside the grotto...sunlight from an underwater entrance illuminates the water. This color is splashed all over the waters of Tobermory-it reminded us of the Bahamas.

Coloring at the Visitor's Center

The lookout tower

Proudly flying at the top of the lookout tower...

A snake eating a frog. Lunch anyone??

What do you use your Green Bins for?! They make a wonderful bath tub...

This is CANADA!

Did you know there are over 40 species of orchids in Tobermory?! I'm taking my chances that is one of them. There were pics at the Visitor's Center and this flower reminded me of them...

I used my green bin for a bathtub when we were camping too!
That snake/frog picture is gross! Kinda neat in a way, but still gross.
It's so beautiful up there - I'm glad you had a good time!

Everything looks beautiful (well, all but the snake, but I guess it is beautiful in a way too)! Nick was surprised that this is in Ontario! :-) How long did you guys camp for?

We were in Tobermory from a Monday to a Friday. I could hardly believe it was Ontario either! Beautiful! But we did have to walk pretty far to see the Groto-2K ...but we found a shorter way back-a silly park dude said the trail was good for strollers-I think he's never pushed a stroller (let alone a double one) and Dude also didn't mention the closer parking lots along the Bruce Trail.

The snake...I think Dan said it's just a guarder (sp?) snake...???
