Belly Shot

Belinda and I promised each other we would not let our shared pregnancies pass without a belly shot. Since Belinda's little one is ready to 'fall out', we felt the pressure to get the picture taken! Belinda is 38 weeks along and I am 27 weeks. It's always fun to share the journey with someone. Taun and I were both pregnant together with Mia and Tiana...the only downside to this is, you barely enjoy each other baby because you are so busy taking care of your own!

Track and Field Day!

This is the only picture of the actually events that I got because I was a group leader for the JK's.
Refreshments!

Mia got first place in the Kindergarten group. Way to go MIA!!!! :O)
The storm threatened us all afternoon and finally broke when ribbons were being handed out.

Mia braved the rain and opened the van door for all of us...

Track and Field was SO much fun. I'm sure it was a TON of work for the event organizers. We practised for 5 KENA (Kids Experiencing New Activities) sessions and then held the big finally. THANK YOU so much to all the organizers-especially Denise.
Little Girls and Flowers

When I finally decided to get rid of my wilting Mother's Day flowers, they were put to good use by three little ladies.
Homemade Tortillas

Did you know it only takes 4 main ingredients to make your own wraps!!! I mixed some whole wheat flour into mine so that makes 5 ingredients.

Step 1
Lay out the ingredients...or you will hear the haunting voice of your Mother saying "I always tell you to read the recipe first and take out all the ingredients before you start baking!". Wise words that have stuck with me...but have not always saved me.
Step 2
Make the dough
Step 3
Divide the dough
Step 4
Roll the dough
Step 5
Pan fry the tortilla!

Step 6
Fill the tortilla and EAT!

Front Porch Sitting...Mia and her Daddy.
Bundling up for a breakfast smoothie.

Trillium In Bloom

"For lo, the winter is past,
the rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth'
the time of singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove
is heard in our land."

Song of Solomon 2:11-12

We saw all this beauty when we went for a Sunday drive yesterday.
