Oh so Wrong!
Well, Ksena's bumbs were not blistering like chicken pox do, so off to the clinic we went. Apparently she is reacting to antibiotics that she had for an earache. Mia is also illergic to penicillin but she only had two hives when she was on it. This was a tricky one to figure out since Mia reacted while taking the meds and Ksena didn't break out until she was done them.

Wow! Thats not a nice way to find out your kid is allergic to something! Good thing you took her to the clinic!
That's crazy Mel! It sure looks like the beginning of chicken pox - before they start blistering. Good thing Mia already had them, so you knew what the chicken pox was supposed to look like.
Mel, I sent you an e-mail, but I just read one of your posts saying your e-mail wasn't working. Just wondering if I can put a link to your blog on mine?
We are the same in our house - take lots of the medication before a reaction (penicillin for me and Tylenol Cold for Cailyn). And of course for Cailyn - Gerald and Linda thought it was chicken pox too - so you aren't the only one ;)
poor sen! hope she feels better soon :)
